Kevin started his career as an industrial engineer for Colgate-Palmolive. His early team-building experience as a maintenance supervisor inspired his interest in human resources.

Kevin spent the majority of his career at Alcoa in a broad range of plant and corporate leadership roles.  His breadth of HR experience at all levels led to his assignment of leading Alcoa’s HR Merger & Acquisition efforts.  As Global HR Director of Alcoa Wheel Products, Kevin led a $1.2 B business with 3,000 employees globally. 

Prior to joining Smithers, he worked with private equity groups to rebuild their HR functions and develop talent.
 
Kevin has a Bachelor’s of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
 
Kevin lives in Avon Lake, Ohio with his wife. They love to travel, especially to visit their three sons and their families. Kevin is also a fitness enthusiast.
