EU Regulation for Migration
The EU Regulation 10/2011 sets out two types of migration limits for plastic materials, covering overall migration (OML) and specific migration (SML).Overall Migration Studies
The overall migration limit is the cumulative figure of substances which can migrate out of the food contact material. The analysis provides a holistic overview of the substances found in the food sample or food simulant.Specific Migration Studies
These studies focus on known individual substances, based on toxicological data. Migration testing identifies whether these substances can be found in the food sample or food simulant.Printing Ink Migration Testing
