Dr. Travisano brings over a decade of experience in the biotech and clinical diagnostic industries, with a strong foundation in organic and analytical chemistry, and a proven track record in research, quality, and laboratory management.
Travisano holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Colorado State University and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from Wake Forest University. His extensive experience includes leading multidisciplinary teams, optimizing laboratory operations, and driving innovation in dynamic and challenging environments.
Building on his experience in method development, validation, and commercial implementation of analytical methods for cannabis, he led the overall operation of two cannabis commercial laboratories. Most recently, Travisano served as the Laboratory Director for a Colorado cannabis testing laboratory. Travisano’s experience and expertise will ensure that the Illinois cannabis market continues to receive accurate data, delivered on time through high touch relationships.
