Smithers Announces Laboratory Director for the Arizona Cannabis Testing Services Laboratory

(Phoenix, AZ) – June 21, 2023 - Smithers, a leading provider of testing, consulting, information, and compliance services, appointed Ahmed Munshi as Laboratory Director of its Cannabis Testing Laboratory located in Phoenix, Arizona. The state-of-the-art lab offers cannabis testing to meet state compliance requirements, as well as specialized testing services such as Hop Latent Viroid.Munshi leads a team of chemists, microbiologists, and technicians to ensure they deliver excellent service and timely, accurate results. Munshi evaluates new testing techniques, instrumentation, and regulations in an effort to expand the lab’s capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Munshi has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Redlands.
