Wareham, Massachusetts, USA) – Smithers, a leading provider of testing, consulting, information, and compliance services, announces the appointment of Glen (Gus) Zieske as Vice President, North America, Environmental Risk Sciences Division.
In this role, Gus will have leadership responsibilities for the Smithers North American team of experts who provide
environmental testing services in the areas of
ecotoxicology,
environmental fate, plant and animal
metabolism, and product and
residue chemistry.
Gus has over 30 years of experience in laboratory operations and management of regulatory testing services. His previous roles included directing the operations of testing laboratories, quality assurance programs, and reporting departments. Gus joined Smithers in 2017 as Director of Avian Wildlife and Toxicology, and progressed to Senior Director of Ecotoxicology, North America. He holds a BS degree in Zoology from Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge.

Gus will assume responsibility for the commercial and technical management of Smithers in Wareham, Massachusetts. His direct reports consist of technical management, quality assurance, business development, and shared services teams.
